Meet Our Team

Ken Krogue

I’m a serial entrepreneur with a short attention span, so I need things to work really fast. I was one of the two original founders of a sales automation platform for inside sales professionals with David Elkington. Now I dedicate myself to causes that I feel called to. Our team of Christ-centered entrepreneurs pulled SearchIsaiah.org together to try and help the world learn to understand what we think is the most important biblical works of all time, the Book of Isaiah. Many of our full time staff that originally built SearchIsaiah.org have moved on after helping us build this amazing resource library from the who’s who of Isaiah experts in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints community. But we now have columnists and volunteer staff who have continued to contribute and expand the breadth and depth as we all gather at the feet of the Prophet Isaiah, who wrote this amazing book for our day.

Darryl Alder

I’m a Boy Scouts of America retiree who loves to hike, cook outdoors, garden and blog. During 42 years in the workplace, I’ve been a senior level manager for professional associations and high tech user groups. In Scouting, our team built a blog with more than 250,000 readers. At SearchIsaiah, we have gone from a handful of readers to 10,000 monthly views in less than one year My background includes outdoor adventure program development; property and construction management; capital fundraising; risk management and safety; event/conference planning; lobbying federal, state and local government agencies; public relations; strategic planning; member advocacy and staff/volunteer training. Along the way, I have also taught Gospel Doctrine Classes and been both the ward and stake Sunday School President. In these settings, I have seen teachers and class members minimize Isaiah, a book Christ has commanded us to “search diligently.” (3 Ne 23:1) With that in mind, I will do my best to explore and post my discoveries about the book of Isaiah. I am not a Bible scholar. Like you, I read Isaiah in the Old Testament cycle of study in LDS Gospel Doctrine Classes and again in the Book of Mormon Cycle, so this can be a whole new scripture adventure for us together.
